AB&J Granola

DAIRY-FREE, NO ADDED SUGAR, GLUTEN-FREE (OPTIONAL), VEGAN (OPTIONAL), SUPERFOODS


Servings: roughly 5 cups

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 30 minutes


Ingredients:

Dry Ingredients

3 cups of rolled oats (for gluten-free, use gluten-free rolled oats)

4 tbsp of ground flaxseed meal

2 scoops collagen (Further Food) (optional protein boost)

3/4 cups of sliced almond

Wet Ingredients:

1/2 cup of almond butter

1/8 cup of honey (for vegan, use maple syrup or agave)

3/4 cup of chia jam (or your favorite jam, preserves) + 2 tbsp for drizzle (optional)


Instruction:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients.

  3. In a separate small bowl, combine almond butter and honey.

  4. Add almond butter and honey mixture to dry ingredients. After these are well-combined, add jam.

  5. Spread evenly over a well-oiled baking sheet.

  6. Bake for 20 minutes.

  7. Turn heat down to 250°F, and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

  8. Allow to cool for ~1 hour before breaking into clusters and storing in an air-tight container.
