“Fried” Avocado Tacos


“Fried” Avocado Tacos

Vegan, Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free (options)

Servings: 3-4 tacos

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 25 minutes


1 ripe avocado

1/2 cup of dairy-free yogurt

1 tbsp of olive oil

1/4 cup of Panko (for gluten-free try Ian’s Gluten-Free Panko)


  1. Set air-fryer to 392°F or preheat oven to 340°F/

  2. Slice a full avocado into chunks.

  3. Combine yogurt with olive oil in a small bowl (in place of egg).

  4. Place Panko in a separate small bowl.

  5. Place avocado chunks individually into the wet-ingredient bowl then into Panko and coat completely.

  6. Layer in single rows and bake for 25 minutes.

  7. Add to tortillas with all your other favorite toppings and enjoy.
