Vegan Pesto Sauce

Vegan, Dairy-Free Pesto Sauce

VEGAN, DAIRY-FREE, GLUTEN-FREE (OPTIONAL)


Servings: 1 cup of sauce (enough for one box of pasta)

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 7 - 10 minutes


Ingredients:

1/8 cup of basil leaves
1 cup of arugula
1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup of almond milk
1 tbsp of coconut oil
1/2 tsp each of pepper and salt
1/8 cup of of nutritional year 
1/2of an avocado 


Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until thick and creamy.

  2. Heat sauce in a sauce pan to your desired temperature, serve with your favorite pasta.
