Golden French Toast

Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Vegan

Servings: 4 - 6 slices of toast

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes


1 banana
1/2 cup almond milk
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 & 1/2 teaspoons of Further Food Daily Turmeric Tonic
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon cardamom
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 tablespoon gluten free flour
4-6 slices gluten free bread


  1. In a blender, combine banana, almond milk, lemon juice, Turmeric Tonic, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and nutmeg. Blend thoroughly.

  1. Transfer mixture to a medium/shallow bowl (one that your bread can fit into) and add gluten free flour.

  2. Dip each slice of bread into batter and use a spoon to cover top with mixture. Make sure both sides are well coated.

  3. Heat a skillet over stovetop, coated with butter, and reduce to low-medium heat.

  4. Transfer bread to skillet and cook 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

  5. Top with your favorite toppings.
