Apple Pie Baked Oats

Apple Pie Baked Oats

Gluten-Free (optional), Vegan (Optional), Meal Prep, Superfoods

Servings: 6 - 8 servings (2” slices of baked oats)

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 45 minutes


Ingredients:

Dry Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups of oats

1/2 cup of almond flour (or flour of your choice)

2/3 cup of chopped walnuts

1 tsp of baking soda

1/2 cup of chopped apples + more to garnish

1 1/2 scoops of collagen powder (Further Food) (omit for vegan)

Apple pie seasoning

1 tbsp of cinnamon

1/2 tsp of nutmeg

1/4 tsp of cardamom

1/4 tsp of allspice

Pinch of salt

Wet ingredients:

1 egg (substitute flax egg for vegan)

1 cup of almond milk (or milk of your choice)

2 tbsp of honey

1 tbsp of oil


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. Add dry ingredients to large mixing bowl and mix together.

  3. Add wet mixture to dry and mix until well combined.

  4. Line baking dish with oil and pour mixture in.

  5. Garnish with extra apple slices and dust with extra apple pie seasoning, flaxseed meal, and/or coconut sugar (optional)

  6. Bake for 45 minutes. Check  if cooked all the way through, if not add 5-10 minutes until it is.

  7. Serve hot, reheated, or cold.
